Shilpa Shetty visits Ajmer Sharif in a burkha

New Delhi, April 10 (IANS) Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, the co-owner of Indian Premier League (IPL) team Rajasthan Royals, visited the Ajmer Sharif shrine wearing a burkha to escape public attention.

'Visited the famous dargah Ajmer Sharif. Yusuf (Pathan) very sweetly arranged everything even the burkha...thank god I wore it,' Shilpa posted on her Twitter account.

However, the burkha was not enough to hide the 34-year-old's identity.

'Thought we had fooled people but the word spread, it was manic but so glad we could visit. (I) have a lot of faith in Faith,' she added.

Shilpa Puts Career Ahead of Marriage

It's not that Shilpa Shetty's career is at a very happening phase. But she does have at least one film as a leading lady, a film which is yet to release. The film is 'The Man', which is being produced by Sunny Deol, also the film's leading man. For some reason or the other, the film has been getting delayed and is yet to be completed. According to sources, Shilpa seems to have lost out on a couple of assignments because of this movie and also had to postpone her wedding plans. Initially the actress was planning a grand wedding around Christmas in London. But if sources are to be believed, then she has canned all those plans and rescheduled her wedding for next year. It seems that Sunny and his movie were partly responsible for the shift in wedding plans after the film's release. And that is the big question. There is big question mark surrounding the film which has been in the making for a while now. In fact, one had even heard of reports about Sunny not being particularly happy with Shilpa doing an item number for Tarun Mansukhani's 'Dostana' as he had felt that it might affect his film which stars Shilpa as the leading lady. But a year has since passed and there seems to have been little progress on the film's front. In fact, if reports are to be believed, then a current schedule of the film to be held in London, was cancelled last week. One can quite understand Shilpa's concern about her movie. I means, she cannot keep Raj Kundra waiting forever, can she?

Bollywood :Shilpa’s birthday plans

It seems Shilpa and her beau Raj Kundra are just inseparable. Shilpa who was in South Africa for IPL, is now in London and will be there till her birthday which is on Monday.
Shilpa plans to celebrate her birthday in London with beau Raj. “I came here straight from South Africa, needed some time for myself and some time to unwind from the cricket mania, and no better place to do it than London. I will be here till my birthday on 8th and then back to Bombay.” said Shilpa.

We all know that Shilpa received a beautiful diamond heart shaped ring from Raj on V-Day earlier this year. Now we are excited to know his gift for his lady love Shilpa on her B’day!

Shilpa Shetty pickles to tempt the UK!

Shilpa Shetty and her fiance Raj Kundra pose for photographers after attending a news conference in London, where they announced their involvement in the V8 Gourmet Group, on Monday.

One of the UK's biggest Indian Restaurant Groups teamed up with the actress and her fiance to launch 'Shilpa's Gourmet Creations', a range of premium authentic dishes consisting of chutneys and pickles.

They intend to launch a whole new line of products and restaurants throughout Europe, Dubai and Jordan.

The V8 Gourmet Group is a UK based group comprising numerous Indian restaurants.
