King Khan is the latest to be bestowed with a doctorate from a British university.
Known for his razor sharp wit and charming ways, Shah Rukh is making news for all the right reasons this time round. The ace actor’s efforts in the field of arts and culture will be recognized, as the University of Bedfordshire is all set to felicitate him in a much-hyped ceremony on July 10.
According to the latest Bollywood buzz, the ceremony will be held at Hotel Courthouse, London, and Shah Rukh will receive the degree from Vice-Chancellor Les Ebdon.
The official website of the university also states that the actor was nominated by Routes 2 Roots - an NGO that endeavours to bring together people, cultures and values from across southern Asia; in particular, India and Pakistan.
After the prestigious and controversial Datuk title that was awarded to King Khan last year, this is the second remarkable achievement of the actor.(spicezee)
