Maddy Tees To Superstar Bachchan

Amitabh Bachchan may have enacted his professor onscreen in 'Teen Patti', but the indomitable veteran turned student, every time the camera was switched off.

Reportedly, Bachchan Senior was suitably impessed with R Madhavan's skills at golf! Watching him teeing off during a Pune schedule, Bachchan expressed a desire to pick up the final nuances of golf from 'Idiot' Mady.

Needless to add, Maddy was only too happy to oblige. And when it came to canning scenes for 'Teen…, it was Bachchan Sr who coached Maddy in a few finer points of histrionics. Guess, Maddy's bonding to the tee…

Superstars fete Kamal Haasan

Some of the biggest names in south Indian cinema, led by Rajnikanth, Venkatesh, Mohanlal and Mammootty, came together to celebrate Kamal Haasan's 50 years in cinema.

Kamal had donned the grease paint for the first time for 'Kalathoor Kannamma' in 1960 at the age of six.

S. P. Balasubramaniam and Hariharan presented 'Kamal unplugged', a medley of songs from Kamal films. Kamal's daughter Shruti peformed some of the famous songs sung for Kamal heroines.
