Vipul Shah's public embarrassment

Filmmaker Vipul Shah would never forget this insult easily. It was a night to announce his association with the prestigious Femina Miss India Pageant. The audience had just settled down and the journos were getting ready to take down the notes, when suddenly something unexpected happened.
The compere of the event committed a major sin. The sin of rubbing acclaimed filmmaker Vipul Shah on the wrong side. Vipul Shah, who has given bollywood some of the biggest hits like NAMASTEY LONDON and SINGH IS KINNG, had to face public embarrassment when his introduction went completely wrong. He was associated with producing TV shows instead of films, something the filmmaker really found hard to come to terms with.

Finally, when his turn for speech came, Vipul Shah pointed out to the error made by the compere. Though he was gracious enough to spare her of any acid comments, but he added, "My introduction is completely wrong. I am not that Vipul Shah, I think there has been some mistake in the research."

Despite this major hiccup, the evening proceeded smoothly with Vipul Shah teaming up with the pageant to select the next female lead for his film.
