Big B slams media for insensitivity

Millennium superstar Amitabh Bachchan slammed the insensitive, disgusting mentality of the electronic media once again.

After returning from the funeral of his old friend, colleague & mentor Prakash Mehra, Big B through his blog has given vent to his anger towards the sickening attitude of the mediapersons present there. Just a few days back after attending Feroz Khan's condolence meet, the ageing super star had penned down his frustration at the electronic media members who at such events forget that sympathy is expected.

Lashes out Big B, "Abhishek and I recently attended Prakash ji's cremation, but the behavior of the electronic media at the crematorium was just disgusting. No respect shown for the sensitivity of the occasion. No regard for the moment and no ethics at all in maintaining some decorum for this very private and somber ritual. All they were interested in was in getting that 'bite' or shoving their cameras inches away from your nose, at a moment when one desired peace and quiet. Shameful. But what of some of the mourners, if they can be called that! They were no less. Pushing and shoving to get a position behind or near about the celebrity, so the cameras can catch them."

On a parting note he says, "I shall not dwell on this anymore. I just burst a blood vessel."
