Her father tried his hand at Bollywood and now it is the daughter's turn. Following in Kamal Hassan's steps is his daughter Shruti, who will soon be seen making her acting debut in Soham Shah's Luck, opposite Imran Khan. The movie also features Sanjay Dutt.
The film's shooting is all over and it is currently in the post production stage. Its promotional video too has been shot and the two young lead actors sport a very glamorous look for the promotional video. Incidentally, Shruti still intends to make music her priority number one. According to reports, she is all set for Los Angeles to record her first solo album in English. Shruti has a band and she usually sings blues and hard rock. But for her first album, the actress will be going solo. The actress intends to finish her recording and be back in the city in time to promote Luck. Well, her luck seems to be better than that of her parents, Kamal Hassan and mother Sarika. However, it remains to be seen if she has inherited any talent in the acting department from them or not.
