The Om Shanti Om girl Deepika Padukone was recently in Lima Peru on a special invitation by the minister of commerce and tourism, Mercedes Araoz Fernandez.
The actress also made it a point to club her visit with the fashion magazine photo shoot. Speaking about her Peru experience, Deepika said that the highlight of her visit was the tour to the presidential palace.
The actress added that the presidential palace is off limits to outsiders but she was given a special permission.
Deepika’s current projects include Love Aaj Kal, produced by Saif Ali Khan. Incidentally, Saif also plays Deepika’s love-interest in the film.
