First Look: 'Aladin'

Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, 'Aladin' is Bollywood's take on the Arab folktale of Aladin, the Magic Lamp and the Genie. The movie stars Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Ritesh Deshmukh, Juhi Chawla, Sameera Reddy and Jackie Fernandez.

Says Director Sujoy Ghosh, "The film is heavy on visual effects and such films usually take around four years to be made. Pre-production for 'Aladdin' took around a year-and-a-half. You can be more relaxed with projects like 'Jhankaar Beats', but 'Aladin' needed a lot of research and attention because there's a lot of money at stake."

'Aladin' will release on July 24, 2009.
