KAMINEY Kaun? Shahid or Amole

They say curiosity killed the cat, but nonetheless we are trying to hit the jackpot to find out the real 'kaminey'. As the release date approaches, anxiety levels are on a high to know who the real kaminey is in Vishal Bharadwaj's next black comedy is, starring Shahid Kapoor in a double whammy. There is a strong buzz that it might actually be TAARE ZAMEEN PAR's writer cum creative director Amole Gupte who is playing a pivotal role in the film.
Amole Gupte is not a novice to acting; he was last seen two decades ago in miniscule roles in films like HOLI and JO JEETA WOHI SIKANDAR, with Aamir Khan. He plays the character of Sunil ''Chopper'' Bhope, with negative shades, a gangster aspiring to become a politician. He plays Priyanka Chopra's brother in the film.

When the film is out, it may turn out to be an anti-climax, just as in OMKARA wherein Saif Ali Khan's villainous Langda Tyagi act took away all the accolades instead of Ajay Devgan who played the title role. Amole's coarse, crude one-liners in the film will definitely set out a rage. Though the first look displays Shahid more than Amole, the audience will grasp as to who the real kamina is, once the film is out.
