After playing a casanova in Bachna Ae Haseeno [Images], Ranbir Kapoor [Images] is all set to play the role of a Sikh salesman in the new Yash Raj film.
Titled Rocket Singh-Salesman of the Year, the film went on the floors on May 2. It marks the return of the Chak De! India director/writer duo, Shimit Amin and Jaideep Sahni.
The comedy revolves around Ranbir's character, and is set against the backdrop of new Indian economy. It is slated to release in December.
After Akshay Kumar flaunted a beard and a turban in blockbuster 'Singh Is Kinng', Ranbir Kapoor is set to don a similar look for a Yash Raj Film titled 'Rocket Singh - Salesman of the Year'.
'Rocket Singh - Salesman of the Year' is a comedy about the current economic scenario and Ranbir plays a salesman.
The film marks the coming together of director Shimit Amin and writer Jaideep Sahni, who churned out blockbuster 'Chak De! India', which had Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role.
The movie is set to release in December this year.
