The NRI director Nagendra Karri, who struck gold with his very first film, Where are you Sophia, is back in the news. The director’s debut venture was screened at the 62nd Cannes Film Festival, making him an instant success.
Nagendra Karri now plans to sign up Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio or Russel Crowe for his next venture Mobster. The director said, “Yes, we are in talks with the three actors but I am particular pushing for Johnny Depp.
He has shown keen interest in the script. We are also in touch with agents of Eva Green for one of the main characters in the film.”
Nagendra also plans to direct the film in Hindi. The director revealed that he would love to rope in either Aamir Khan or Kamal Haasan for the lead role. His other options are Abishek Bachchan and Rahul Bose
