Is Aa Dekhen Zara a copy of Koi Mil Gaya?

Neil Nitin Mukesh is all set to release his next film Aa Dekhen Zara which has him playing the role of a jet set photographer that has a camera with mystical powers to take him into the future… loaded with songs and the girls and all, but is this bizarre alien concept a good thing for Indian audiences??? Maybe it is, maybe India is progressing with their tastes in movies because it worked for Koi Mil Gaya… which brings us to just one point, is Aa Dekhen Zara taking its influences from that Hrithik hit?

So will the audiences accept this idea? Or would they find it tough to swallow? "Why would that be the case," says Neil.

"Weren't they convinced with the presence of an alien and its involvement in the life of the character played by Hrithik (Roshan) in 'Koi Mil Gaya'? In the film you have the entire alien element coming into picture at the very onset and this is what made it a good film because it helped you identify even with 'Jadoo'."The moment this thrilling element about the camera being an important character is digested by the audiences, they will be intrigued to know more about what my story is and why are some particular incidents happening to my character?" said Neil.

Neil seems pretty confident about the audiences grasping his movie but that remains to be seen if the audiences think likewise.

Catch Aa Dekhen Zara on the 27th of March in Indian cinemas.
