Another Addition to the Cast of My Name Is Khan
There has been another addition to the cast of Karan Johar's My Name Is Khan, with actress Zarina Wahab being roped in to play the role of mother to Shah Rukh Khan in the movie. The film sees SRK back in action with his favourite leading lady, Kajol.
According to sources, Zarina, who is actor Aditya Panscholi's wife, is believed to have been quite happy to accept the role, as she feels that it does not matter who plays her son or daughter. The actress who is best remembered for her role as leading lady in films like Chitchor and Gharonda, has been playing mother roles for a while now in regional films as well as on television. But the factor that played a big role in landing her the part was the fact that she has not been overexposed on TV. Another plus was her reputation as a sensitive actress. Johar was looking for someone who could carry off the role of the mother of an autistic person and Zarina seemed to fit the bill.
SRK's character in the movie is supposed to be suffering from a form of autism
