Rahman's mega show in Kerala

After having won the Oscars, music maestro would be for the first time performing live music concert titled 'Jai Ho' in Kozhikode, Kerala on May 3 to express solidarity with the HIV positive orphan kids. Apart from Rahman, over 50 well-known musicians will be participating in this show being organized by the NGO Global Kerala Initiative.
A.R. Rahman recently to one of the new agencies said that from the last 15 years he wanted to perform in Kerala. Though he had cancelled at least seven shows this year itself as he would be in US for at least six months, he wanted the Kerala show to be held as it was 'irresistible'. Malayalam singers are gifted, dedicated and their foundation is very strong.

The Chennai-based star composer also said he would team up with Oscar winning sound engineer Resul Pookutty to compose music for Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision's Bollywood multistarrer BLUE, starring Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Lara Dutta, Zayed Khan and Katrina Kaif. BLUE is directed by Anthony D'Souza.
