Despite all the controversies dogging the movie and its leading star Salman Khan, Veer is almost complete. The film is being produced by Vijay Galani and directed by Anil Sharma.
The film's unit is back from the UK where quite a few scenes featuring Salman, Jackie Shroff and Sohail Khan and debutant leading actress Zareen. Some 10 to 15 days of shooting are left and that is supposed to take place in Mumbai itself. The film is a period drama which is set in the London f 1880 and revolves around Salman who plays a warrior. In the UK, most of the shoot took place in and around London, featuring mostly castles, mansions and other heritage buildings. To give the movie an authentic look of the 1880s, horse driven carriages and horse carts were used extensively in the shoots.
