Pritam said no to Aa Dekhen Zara music

Music director Pritam Chakraborty was offered the song of Neil Nitin Mukesh and Bipasha Basu starrer Aa Dekhein Zara.

But the musician refused to work on the soundtrack, since he did not want to meddle with the original composition of R D Burman. As a result, the producer of Aa Dekhein Zara opted for Gaurav Dasgupta instead of Pritam Chakraborty.

Producer Viki Rajani has been quoted as telling the media, "Pritam was not able to crack the song and he conveyed it to us well in advance that we should look for another music director for the song. He tried hard to work on the song for three weeks but he finally gave up and told us not to push him into doing it."

According to Pritan, "I didn't want to tamper with the original composition of R D Burman. I was not getting any ideas for the song. So, I told the producer to find another music director since I was not able to do it."
