Shooting For 3 Idiots On

The shooting of Rajkumar Hirani's 3 Idiots is currently going on at a frenetic pace in the cities of Mumbai and Delhi. The film, which has been adapted from Chetan Bhagat's novel, Five Point Someone, stars Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Madhavan.

According to sources, Aamir, Madhavan and Sharman Joshi play three engineering students in the film. Of the three, Madhavan plays the narrator in the film. He takes the audience into the film and the lives of the characters. The film's shooting is nearing its end. The shooting in Mumbai and Delhi is expected to get over by March 30. After that the unit will move to Ladakh, where there is five days work remaining. The film will then go into post production and be readied for a December 25 release. Hirani's film will be the first time that Aamir will be working opposite Kareena. It seems that before starting work on the film, Aamir, Hirani and producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra had a signed agreement going about the draft of the script that they would adhere to without any deviations whatsoever. But it seems that the Chopra forgot about the marketing aspect. With Aamir agreeing in principle to not interfere in the film's shooting, that part has gone very smoothly. But now it seems that the actor wants to know about how the producer wants to market the movie and the entire marketing strategy of the film. Like they say, old habits die hard.
