The taboo on daughters of actors entering the industry seems to be vanishing. The Kapoor sisters, Karisma and Kareena were the first to break the taboo when they took to acting. Of course, actresses Sharmila Tagore and Hema Malini's daughters,' Soha and Esha also joined the bandwagon. Anil Kapoor's Sonam was the next to follow. And now is the turn of villains as well.
It seems that silver screen baddie Shakti Kapoor's daughter, Shradha, is all set to make her acting debut in Leena Yadav's Teen Patti opposite Amitabh Bachchan and R Madhavan. The 21 year old girl, who seems to have inherited her looks from her mother, Shivangi and aunt Padmini Kolhapure, has a background in theatre. According to sources, Shradha will not be romantically paired opposite anyone in the movie. Teen Patti is based on a true story about some students who mastered the art of card counting and made a killing at the casinos of Las Vegas. The film, which is scheduled for a release in June or July this year, will also feature Pierce Brosnon in a cameo. The unit will be travelling to Boston to wrap up the shooting for the movie.
