Karan Johar is known to make over the top movies with huge star casts and sets, he’s done it all but there is one thing that the superstar has not done and he doesn’t intend to either, plagiarize! Whenever Karan puts his name on to a film or a movie he makes sure its completely authentic.

So what about his next film with Kareena and Kajol in the lead which is said to be based on the Hollywood film Stepmom? He just went about and bought the rights to the film from the producers. Karan does not want to get into any type of allegations and so has made a smart move by doing this.

Hollywood is getting wiser to the tactics of Bollywood filmmakers who use their ideas to spin movies off in India and put their trademark on it. the makers of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button had even placed a warning in the papers to all those who try and copy the film.

So Karan has saved himself from all the allegations and even embarrassment this way.
