Jiah Loses Another Film?

One wonders what it is with actress Jiahn Khan. She nay have bagged a two-film contract with UTV, but she has already lost out on two movies. The first, as everyone knows, is Ken Ghosh's Yahoo, starring Shahid Kapoor in the lead,


But it seems that she has been shown the door from another film as well. It seems that MF Hussian's son Owais Hussian has dropped Jiah from his directorial venture and roped in Sonal Chauhan. Jiah lost Yahoo to Genelia D'Souza and now she is believed to have lost out to the Jannat girl. Of course, neither UTV nor Owais are saying that the actress was shown the door. But where Yahoo is concerned, a considerable part of the film had already been shot and that's when Genelia stepped in. According to reports, leading actor Shahid, a good friend of Ghosh, was not too happy with Jiah's performance in the film, which finally led to her being dropped. UTv, however, has insisted that since the script was changed, the actress decided to amicably part ways with them. Jiah shot into limelight with Ram Gopal Verma's Nishabdh, where she was cast opposite Amitabh Bachchan. Her next release was Ghajini, where she had a part with hardly any meat in it yet one which was significant to the action in the film. It remains to be seen when she starts work on her two films with UTV.
