Hrithik to 'Pay' for Straying?

With the impasse between the producers and multiplex owners continuing to take centrestage, there is little else that can distract Bollywood. But the news of the Hrithik Suzanne break up, was definitely news that made all sit up and take notice.

Of course, it has all been resolved now and the husband and wife have issued statements to the press stating the obvious, that all is fine in their marriage. In fact, Hrithik went so far s to say that it was a conspiracy against him. The rumours were apparently triggered by the news that Suzanne walked out of her home and went back to her parents while Hrithik was away in South Africa shooting for an ad. But it seems that Hrithik dashed back to Mumbai and went over straight to his in laws' to sort things out. The excuse given was that their house was being renovated. But sources confirm that Suzanne had had enough of Hrithik's growing proximity to his Kites co star Barbara Mori. She has extracted a promise from Hrithik to never associate with the Latin actress professionally. In fact, by doing this, Suzanne has joined the company of some more famous wives who have extracted promises from their straying husbands to not associate professionally or personally with the 'other' woman. First there was Jaya Bachchan who managed to get Amitabh Bachchan to make that promise the reason why the Big B and Rekha will never be seen together on screen. Probably also the reason why Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra will never work together. Also why Sunny Deol kept away from Raveena Tandon. The list keeps getting updated down the ages. But Suzaane is the latest entrant.
