Amitabh Bachchan has long since been harrowed by the media and all its false reports, be it on him or on anything else. So when he was in talks with Ram Gopal Varma for his upcoming film Rann in which he plays TV magnate Harshvardhan Malik the idea hit him, Amitabh Bachchan will start his own news channel called India 24 X 7.
Amitabh already has a very successful blogspot on which he regularly makes his comments public but now he wants to extend his hand into larger territories.Preparations are already in full swing and Amitabh will collaborate with a big corporate house for the same.
Now here this out, the news channel in Rann goes by India 24 X 7, the same name as that of Amitabh Bachchan’s who is also planning on naming his channel India 24 X 7. So we can’t help but think is this another way of promoting Rann? Is this one of Ram Gopal Varma’s promotional gimmicks? Should we take this seriously as a channel and expect something good from the Big B?
We can’t say, however when contacted Amitabh Bachchan denies the story that he's bringing out a TV channel. He says, ‘It's not true.’
