Jiah Khan signs two-film deal with UTV

After being reportedly asked to leave UTV Motion Pictures' 'Yahoo', Jiah Khan has now signed a two-film deal with the company.

'UTV has signed me for two of their future films to be started later this year,' Jiah, who was last seen in the hit movie 'Ghajini', said in a press release.

Directed by Ken Ghosh, 'Yahoo' features Shahid Kapur in the male lead. Media reports claimed that Jiah was asked to leave the project.

'After the changes they made in the script, I felt that I don't suit the character,' said Jiah.

UTV has also clarified that Jiah left 'Yahoo' after creative changes were made to the script.

'Speculations in the industry about Jiah Khan being dropped out of Ken Ghosh's project are completely erroneous. It was a mutual decision whereby Jiah opted out of the project seeing a misfit between the character and Jiah,' said Ram Mirchandani, COO, UTV Rampage Motion Pictures.

'Jiah is a wonderful actor with some amazing talent. We have signed her for our next projects and really look forward to working with her,' he added.
