Kambakkth Ishq Gets Away With U/A Certificate
Sajid Nadiadwala's much talked about Kambakkth Ishq has managed to get away with a U/A certificate from the censor board. It was being speculated that movie would get an 'Adults Only' certificate but it seems that the censors did not feel so.
The speculation about the certification was triggered by the language used by the lead actors Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor in the initial promos of the movie. However, Nadiadwala seems to have an answer for it. According to him, there were more than four or five trailors made for the film and since the Censors objected to the one using explicit language, they decided to drop that and are now airing another one, resulting in them getting a U/A certificate. The film has been directed by newbie Sabir Khan, who has assisted Nadiadwala in films like Mujhse Shaadi Karoge. It was Sabir who came up with the story idea of Kambakkth Ishq which Nadiadwala fell in love with and decided to produce. The highlight of the movie, which has been made on a budget of Rs 75 crore, is the presence of Hollywood stars Sylvester Stallone, Denise Richards and Brandon Routh, who play themselves in the movie, which has Hollywood as its playground, with Akshay, playing a stuntman in Hollywood.
