Boney Kapoor's Wanted is Set for a July Release

Wanted, which is a remake of the Telugu film Pokkiri, is finally edging close to its release date. The film, which stars Salman Khan in the lead, is likely to hit the theatres worldwide on July 3.


Wanted is produced by Boney Kapoor and is being touted to be one of the most expensive films made by him. Besides Salman, the other name attached to the film is that of actor choreographer Prabhu Deva, who has turned director with this movie. After so many delays, the film has finally reached the post production stage. The film was shot extensively in locales in Greece and Bangkok, besides Indian locations like Chennai, Hyderabad and Mumbai. The film stars Ayesha Takia in the lead opposite Salman, along with Vinod Khanna, Mahesh Manjrekar and South Indian star Prakash Raj. In fact, Boney has two more films from his stable which are ready for release, one of which is the Kareena Shahid starrer Milenge Milenge, which has been directed by Satish Kaushik and is a love story which deals with the theme of destiny. It is all set for a end May or early June release. The second film all set to release is It's My Life, which is all set to hit theatres in August or September. Co produced by Sanjay Kapoor and directed by Anees Bazmee, the film stars Nana Patekar, Harman Baweja and Genelia D'Souza. The next few months should therefore prove to be quite action packed for Boney.
